Great food. Let bed the salsa and service fast and friendly. Recommend the Razorback special!

Good food. Friendly staff. The owner is a genuinely and a sweet person

I rate this for stars because of the location. It's in a very walkable area with lots going on around it. The food is consistent. This is average southern Mexican food.

Some friends and I had lunch at Picante's Mexican Grill during a recent conference we attended at the Hot Springs Convention Center just a short walk down the street. The food was delicious, the service good though a bit slow, and the prices reasonable. I'll probably give them another try in the future and hope faster service will give them more stars.

The food was very good. The waitress was very unfriendly from thevmoment we placed our drink order. A top shelf margarita was served with salt and other spices. We didn't want it with the spices and asked the waitress to remake it without the spice (salt only). The waitress was rude and reluctant. Eventually the manager replaced it. The waitress and female coworker gossip about it including another guest accross from the bar. We clearly hear their conversation about our drink. They wanted up to hear it. This made our intire time very uncomfortable.Wait staff with this type of attitude can kill your business. Take note, don't allow it!

We don't eat out much because we usually get disappointed, but this has got to be one of the best Mexican restaurants we've ate at. It started with the warm fresh chips and the best salsa I've had in a long time, actually got a cup to go. The razorback special was really tasty as were the street tacos.

We are visiting from Texas. I was starving after arriving because apparently you can drive in Arkansas for hours without seeing a single town! Anyway, this was literally the first restaurant I saw after checking into the hotel and it was fabulous. We ate outside which was lovely. The host and waitress were both friendly. They are taking covid precautions. The waitress recommended my dish and it was awesome. I have no idea what its called but I'll attach a picture. Highly recommend stopping by.

Our waiter was very accommodating with fast service. Very polite. The food was very flavorful and tasty! Seating was comfortable. I would definitely come back to eat whenever we are in town !

Good food, super friendly service and easy to get in to eat on Derby weekend. Price's are fair and the drinks are a good poor. Chips and salsa and if you take some of your meal home, they will send you home with chips and salsa. Clean and nice staff.

Nice atmosphere, great food, manager is a true professional who takes care of his customers.

We came in about 45 minutes prior to closing. The restaurant was mostly empty, and in spite of good reviews we were a little concerned. Nevertheless, the food and service were great. Chips and salsa were fresh, fajitas, burritos, etc., Everything was good. Service was also very good even though they were about to close. My wife had a very good mango margarita that was generous in size and alcohol. We went back a second time because our kids liked it so much, and the second visit went equally well. Recommended.

Went to eat here while at Spa-con and it was great. The staff was super friendly and the food was really good. Only reason I gave them 4 stars is I was up charged like $2 and I didnt realize what i ordered had one. It was really good though! Perfect if you are at the convention center!

Was wonderful! My fiance and I wanted to go somewhere we had never been before and decided on Picante's. The food was amazing, I had the Razorback Special. Their salsa was great and the atmosphere was really nice at the time we went. Definitely will return and recommend! I don't leave many detailed reviews like this unless I am really impressed. Also, it was reasonably priced and the quantity of the food was large. We both had full to go boxes we had so much food and with the tip we left, we spent about $40 total. Worth it! And to top it off, my boyfriend proposed in the parking lot. So it may be our new favorite place! :)

They have some of THE best Mexican food! I was able to go during the July 4th weekend with a group of people, and loved it. The staff was very friendly and fast, and the food was great!

Picante's Mexican Grill is delicious! The chicken enchilada and taco were superb. The also have a habenero hot sauce that is amazing, I highly recommend this place. A+

Havent been dissappointed by their food yet! Cant really say the same about their staff. Sometimes you can run into a surely waiter but the food quality is always the same which is great!

Loved the mexican food! We ordered a variety meal and had a chance of tasting a lot! Can say everything tasted good.

Had a hair in my Frys I got the burger it was ok kids an wife got the toco salad it was horrible

The service was good. The food was ok; definitely Mexican with an American slant.

The food was good and reasonably-priced. I've eaten there many times and will again. The reason for the lower star rating is that the waiter added a $5 tip between the bill and card receipt. I would have tipped roughly that amount; service was decent. But that wasn't right.

This place is very interesting, I loved the atmosphere the views and most of all the food! You must order the cheese dip, it is so good I could not make myself stop eating it

Great waitresses, great atmosphere, great food! Like a mexican olive garden if olive garden wasnt a chain. Salsa and chips served generously as you sit. Salsa is a bit on the spicier side. Food was served hot and fresh and tasted great

My husband and I LOVE this place. The service is wonderful, the food is great, the salsa is great as well. They get you taken care of fast, while being so friendly. We've had a sweet Lady named Corey as our waitress both times we've gone and she is amazing. I highly recommend this place when visiting hot springs. Will definitely be going back next time we come through Arkansas.

Great service great food

Food was great. Atmosphere is straight from 50’-60’s. Servers was great. I was actually very impressed with my food. I had the pop-eye burrito and I strongly suggest you get that. Only things I was not impressed with at all was Salsa and Avocado dip. Yes I say Avocado cause that’s all that was in it. But everything else was spot on

Pretty good food, similar too most Mexican restaurants, it has a good atmosphere and the service is good, location is also good.

Had the quesadilla and seafood enchiladas both were delicious. The salsa and queso was tasty. They have a habanero sauce that has a punch and good flavor. The staff is friendly. Corey was out bar tender and was attentive and made our drinks well.

Place is amazing. Food and margaritas are fantastic. And the staff is just hands down perfect.

Went last night with out of town family and here it is a Sat night and free concert night and race season. We expected a wait. After all we had 7 in our party. After an hour of watching them seat 2 party after 2 party I went to the desk and explained that we had 2 disabled people and a pregnant woman and asked if there was anyway they could stop seating those and push some tables together so we could get sat. The owner came out and talked with us and said he would see what he could do. Five minutes later we were seated. These people are awesome and so is their food.

The food is very tasty and authentic. They brought chips and salsa to our table as soon as we sat down (we went to other Mexican restaurants and they didn’t do that). My husband ordered a steak burrito with no beans and they still packed it with meat and some rice. Very tasty! I ordered 4 enchiladas; chicken, hamburger meat, beans and cheese. Each had a delicious flavor. I highly recommend it!!

Never been to Hot Springs so we didn't know where to eat. WOW we got lucky when we chose this place! We had beef fajita nachos that were out of this world!!!

1st time visit for us. Great small restaurant with very attentive staff. Menu had everything you need covered. I had the Burrito and better half had the Talapio meals. Bother were great and large serving. Frozen house margarita were very flavorful with a nice touch of chili peppered salt in the rim. Great addition.

Authentic Mexican food at a affordable price and a great atmosphere wonderful waitresses

I went here on vacation and liked the food pretty ok. The tacos were good for a normal mexican restaurant. The atmosphere on the outside is very nice and is a fun area with shops and restaurants. Overall, I would recommend coming here for mexican food in Hot Springs.

Chips & salsa given upon arrival... super on it for getting me water refills... wife got the street tacos... I got the chimichanga loca (all the meats) and boy was it not a disappointment. Everything came out hot, in a reasonable amount of time... wait staff was super nice. The mexi-rolls (appetizer) were super good, too (think Latin egg roll)... chatted it up with (I assume) the manager a little before we left.. definitely recommend! That salsa was SO fresh!
